His fingers wrapped around the back of my neck, pulling me hard against his

body. I knew what he was attempting to do, but his plan was backfiring.

My body sighed at the contact, and every curve molded against him;

desperate to feel all of him.

“If I feel you beneath me, I won’t

be able to stop Araya. I want you too damn much! I want you, all of you.

I want to be buried so deep inside of you, you won’t know where I end

and you begin.” His breath showered my lips with warmth.

“I won’t want you to stop Ryland. I need you, all of you, now and forever.”

“And the rest?”

His

eyes move over my face, flushing my skin with the intensity of his

gaze. The rhythm of my heart increased, because I know what he wants me

to say.

“Say it.” He growls against my lips.

“I’ve never met anyone like you before Araya. The way you view life and love;

you’re not angry with anything that’s happened to you.”

I turned my head toward him, and a smile tilted the corner of my

lips. “Yeah, I’m kind of amazing that way.” I teased.

He rolled over, bracing his arms on either side of my head, and

we stared at each other upside down. His thumbs swept across my cheeks and his

fingers caressed the sides of my neck up to my jaw. Tilting my

neck back, he kissed my chin, and the dip below my bottom lip. He

brushed his lips back and forth over mine, but the touch was so light, I

couldn’t even be completely sure it had happened.

“Yes, you are.” He whispered.

Colliding into her, we fell against the wall. My mouth came down on hers fiercely, and my fingers flexed around her ribs. I lifted her against me, and her shapely legs wrapped around my waist easily. My hands moved over her hips, and my fingers dug into her flesh, bringing her closer and harder against me. I needed her to know exactly how good this was going to be.

Reading has always been a passion for me and writing is as instinctive as breathing. Every inhale is an idea; every exhale a creation. Flutter, The Discover Series was my debut release and since then I have written a contemporary romance, The Edge of Darkness. The only thing I do better than writing? Making beautiful, sassy and independent, girls. My daughter's will always be my greatest accomplishment, my biggest fans and my every inspiration. I live, breath and would die for them! I've been married to one of the greatest men in my life for 7 years and I love him more than chocolate (you know shit just got real :), Justin Timberlake and Friday's. Without him my website would be a mess and I would probably being paying more taxes than I should be. He is a jack of many trades and this is just my opinion but I like to think besides my daughters, I'm his second biggest accomplishment. 5. I'm loyal to a fault but I like to see the good in everybody. Don't mistake my kindness for weakness though because my bark is not always bigger than my bite :))

6. I don't like calling readers 'fans'. When it come down to it, I am all YOUR biggest fan! MWAH!I will never be able to thank every reader, every blogger or every author who has helped me in one or a million ways since I published but I will try every chance I get. My Review:

I was so honored when Melissa Andrea contacted me and wanted me to beta read for The Edge of Darkness. I couldn't wait to read it because Melissa kept teasing all over the internet and it was outstanding.

Araya is by far one of my favorite characters. She has a lot to overcome, but yet she lives on. Ryland is from a rich family, but it isn't a easy home life. But, fate intervenes and Ryland meets Araya. However, it takes a lot for them to to finally get together and carry on a conversation. It isn't lack of trying from Ryland. Even though Araya has a certain outlook on life she is still guarded in a lot of ways. However, day-by-day Araya come out of her shell and Ryland sees life in a different perspective.

But, the happy relationship doesn't last long. Melissa Andrea puts a twist in there that I am SHOCKED about. SHOCKED!! I was crying so hard by the end of this book, that I could not even type.

My only downfall is that I don't know the release date of Book 2!!

But, the happy relationship doesn't last long. Melissa Andrea puts a twist in there that I am SHOCKED about. SHOCKED!! I was crying so hard by the end of this book, that I could not even type.

My only downfall is that I don't know the release date of Book 2!!

MARY'S REVIEW:

I have been watching my Facebook timeline fill up with /awesome reviews of this book and I knew that I had to purchase it soon. Then my Secret Santa bought me the book! YAY!

Best Part of Book: Melissa Andrea is the best part of this book! She put a twist on the supernatural world that makes it like no other. I loved it! I thought it was interesting and different. There is only so many werewolves stories because they are all the "same". Melissa totally flipped it on this story and I cannot wait for book 2. I also loved Adan! He is a great character. I love how Sara and him interact and I love his protectiveness over her.

Not so great about the book: The beginning of the book I found confusing. I couldn't figure it out. However, after talking with other bloggers they told me to stick with it. THEY WERE RIGHT!! Melissa explains everything and it all comes together and it ALL made sense!!
