Book Summary
Today’s premiere New Adult authors combine their talents to tell four original stories from inside one house. When four girls decide to live off campus together as juniors at a college in Michigan, they expect it to be their best year yet. Little do they know, it’s a year that will change the rest of their lives.
Flo's Review
As I mentioned earlier this week, I was in a novella-reading mood this weekend, so when my eyes landed on this book of four short stories, I scooped it up. What a neat concept! These are four different stories about four different women, but they are roommates. There are glimpses of the other three girls in each of the stories, so it is easy to see them as a unit, even though each one could stand alone. I would love to hear more about the writing process. Did they go in order? Because I feel like maybe A.L. Jackson and Molly McAdams could have switched for 1 and 2, but Christina's story definitely needed to be last.
Of the four, I think I enjoyed Courtney and Dalton's story the best. Chloe and Blake's is second. The other two were good stories as well, but a bit intense for a Saturday night novella. I thank Berkeley/NAL for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review, and I think I will try to read more from all four ladies.

Cross Country Christmas by Tiffany King
Book Summary
With the holiday season upon her, Jamie Foster is once again stressed about making her yearly visit back home to Woodfalls, still single. Fate intervenes in the form of Grant Johnson, a boy she grew up with, who catches the same flight while returning home from a business trip.
When a malfunction sends their plane crashing down on the runway upon takeoff, Jamie and Grant decide to rent a car and make the nine-hundred-mile drive home together. Ironically for them, anything that can go wrong does as they face one hysterical hurdle after another.
Christmas may finally bring Jamie the gift of love she has always wanted if she and Grant can manage to overcome a few obstacles along the way. Ho-ho-ho!
Flo's Review
I was in a novella-reading mood this weekend, so I when I was flipping through my Kindle and saw that I had downloaded this, I figured I should read it before the we got too far away from Christmas. I'd remembered reading the Amazon reviews about how it was a bit unrealistic that pretty much EVERYTHING went wrong for these two and I'll have to agree with that. The small car and the speeding ticket didn't really do much for the plot. Everything else, though a bit much, made sense with the progression of the story.
Grant Johnson. How many of us know a guy like that. Soo annoying...yet, really hot. The guy you want to not like, but you just can't help it because he's so darn charming! Tiffany King did a great job giving us that guy and showing Jamie's struggle with him. The other characters in the story were cozy people, and I think that's a great way to describe this novella. Cozy. So if you are in the holiday spirit, grab some hot chocolate, curl up on the couch with your blanket and try making your way to Woodfalls with Jamie and Grant.

NEW RELEASE: The Write Stuff by Tiffany King
Blurb:
Twenty-two-year-old historical romance writer Nicole Blake, or N.S. Blake to her readers, hasn't taken an official poll, mind you, but she is convinced she may be the only romance author on the planet who is still a card-carrying member of the virgin club.
Not that she hasn't tried to end her membership. Life just keeps finding pesky ways to interfere. With no prospects on the horizon, Nicole begins to feel like the closest she will ever get to experiencing a man is within her own stories.
Opportunity presents itself in the form of hot-as-sin-on-a-lollipop-stick bartender/premed student Alec Petropoulos, who agrees to be the cover model for her upcoming book. Sparks fly instantly between them, and Nicole begins to entertain the possibility that she's finally found the right guy to hand over her tattered V-card.
Alec has all the makings for a perfect one-night-stand candidate except, much to Nicole's surprise, he seems to be the only man in existence not interested in bagging a virgin.
Stuck between a rock and a stubborn male, what's a virgin to do? Seduce him, of course. How hard could it be? If it works for the characters in her stories, why wouldn't it work for her?
After all, what happens under the cover…stays under the cover.

Mary's Review:
For many years now I have had a serious Author Crush on Tiffany King (It's okay she knows)
When I read the blurb, I wanted to read this RIGHT THEN! I love the whole concept of the story. I mean, come on you have a virgin and a hot guy, what could go wrong?
Then I stopped .... a virgin? .... a hot guy? .... hasn't this been done a million times? I became worried that maybe this was going to be too 'cookie-cutter'.
When I started reading I knew from 2% into the book this was going to be like nothing else! I WAS RIGHT!
Nicole has probably become one of my favorite characters that Tiffany has written. She has flaws and I love that. I also love that she's real and I can relate with her. I can remember feeling some of the same things that she did at that age. I loved that!!
Then there's Alec. Yep, my new book boyfriend! (Are you shocked by that?) Oh, how I drooled on my kindle for this guy, and then other times he sort-of mad me a little mad. But, hey, he's a guy (fictional or not they get under your skin every once and a while)
I laughed a lot in this book. I did yell a few times. BUT, I LOVED IT ALL!!

Book Bash 2014!
Have y'all heard of this event called Book Bash?! It is mad, crazy fun!! I remember hearing about after it happened last year. Basically everyone was telling me that I had to go, but that tickets sell out really quickly. One random day I'm bumming around online and see that they're going on sale. At this point, I don't have the hotel, or people to go with, or any sort of plan, but I decided: "I'll go ahead and buy the ticket and figure it out from there!" In the short amount of time it took to make that decision, they sold out -- but then one opened up and I snatched it! I was in!
Needless to say a plan did come together, and that's how I ended up waking up at 2:30 a.m. (you read that right!) to hit the road to Orlando. I had the honor of spending the weekend with these lovely ladies from Owl Always Be Reading and Once Upon a Twilight:
![]() |
| I love these ladies! |
![]() |
| Seriously. Perfection. |
The day continued in awesomeness from there. It's hard to believe that so much amazingness can happen in 4 hours, but, alas -- it can. And: it did!
![]() |
| Clockwise from top right: Maya Banks, Jennifer Armentrout, Tiffany King, Tammara Webber, Cora Carmack, Nichole Chase, K.A. Tucker, Colleen Hoover, and Katja Millay. Whew! |
Next up was a blogger event sponsored by Berkley Romance & Signet Eclipse. I loved the pretty red theme, as well as just having an opportunity to sit down and chat with other bloggers:
There was time for a quick nap after that before we headed to the after party. I definitely had a blast there! It was great to see everyone dancing, drinking and having fun. Not to mention, they played all my jams: the Wobble, the Cupid Shuffle, and more!
I had ridiculous amounts of fun, and if you can make it to Book Bash 2015, I recommend you try! I know I definitely will!

COVER REVEAL: Misunderstandings by Tiffany King
Synopsis:
Just when she thought things were going up…
Two years after a devastating breakup, Brittni Mitchell has moved on from Justin Avery—or so she tells herself. But when she returns to Seattle for her best friend’s engagement party, Brittni finds herself the victim of a disastrously timed elevator breakdown. She’s trapped with the last person she wants to face, and forced to recount the past she desperately wants to forget.
She’s going to have to look back…
When Brittni left her podunk hometown for a big city college experience at the University of Washington, hooking up with a guy like Justin Avery was not part of her plan. Between Justin’s attention-grabbing tattoos, cigarette smoking, and bad boy attitude Brittni quickly chalked him up as “Mr. Wrong.” But his charm was unrelenting, and Brittni’s decision to give Justin a chance quickly turned into the worst choice she ever made.
So that she might be able to move forward.
Now she’s stuck with Justin—literally—and the complicated web of misunderstandings that tied up the truth for two years is about to unravel.

And it's Releasing today!! You aren't going to want to miss getting your hands on this novella. See below for all of the information on CROSS COUNTRY CHRISTMAS and Tiffany King, as well as where to find her. But first, check out this excerpt from the novella!
Excerpt:
"Why do you care so much?" he asked,
scooting the tray to the foot of the bed and moving closer to me.
My body reacted to his close proximity. "What makes you think I
care?" I said breathlessly as he inched closer.
"I think you care a lot," he said, dropping his eyes to my mouth.
I swallowed hard as his mouth hovered close to mine. "Tell me you haven't
been thinking about this," he said, stroking a thumb over my bottom lip.
"Have you?" I whispered.
"Jams, I've been thinking about this longer than I can remember," he
said, crushing his lips to mine. His words rang through my head, but there was
no way I could make sense of them when his lips felt so good. I responded with
a small moan when his tongue trailed across the same spot where his thumb had
been. My pleasure filled acceptance affected him and he dragged me into his
arms, deepening the kiss. A shiver rippled down my body as our tongues found each
other. I gripped the hem of his shirt, wanting him closer. Hearing my unspoken
plea, he settled the upper half of his body on top of mine. I gasped with
pleasure, running my fingers up under his shirt. I could feel the firmness of
his muscles and smoothness of his skin. It was almost my undoing when I felt
him tugging at my shirt moments before his hand glided over the sensitive skin
of my ribcage. My blood roared through me. His hand moved farther up to my
breasts and I bowed my body, whimpering against his lips. I wanted his touch
everywhere on my body.
"Jams, you're seriously killing me," he said raggedly against my
lips. He pulled back slightly.
"Is that good or bad?" I asked, running my hands up his torso. My
fingers trailed to the small patch of hair that disappeared down his jeans.
Ever since I'd seen him in nothing but his jockey shorts the other night, I've
fantasized about that small trail of hair.
"So good it almost hurts," he said, leaning in for another kiss.
Before his lips could reach their destination, a beeping noise from downstairs
followed by the sound of voices in the hallway interrupted us.
"Really?" he asked incredulously, climbing off the bed. I couldn't
help giggling. Of course something was going on. With our luck lately, I could
have almost set my watch by it.

Review:
I will admit that I was more nervous about this book than any other of Tiffany's book
I love Jordyn so much and book 1 was so great that I wanted this book
to be just as good!
Well, how could I doubt THE TIFFANY KING !!!!
Jordyn was just as amazing as the first!
Every chapter and every page was pure perfection
What I liked:
LOVE LOVE LOVE the whole story line
It picks up from where Book 1 left off at and Jordyn is trying to stay
away from anyone.
Well, something happens (something BIG) and they need
Jordyn to come back and help with it.
From that point its an action packed book!! OMG!! LOVE it!!
What I didn't like:
Another Cliffhanger .. ugh! Hopefully Tiffany won't
take to long to write book 3 *wink*

BLOG TOUR: No Attachments by Tiffany King CHARACTER INTERVIEW
Ashton Garrison walked away from a privileged life in order to hide from the one thing she's not willing to face. She knows she left behind a trail of pain, but in the long run, her betrayal will hurt less than the truth. She now has one goal: Live life to the fullest with no regrets and no attachments. She has high hopes that a move to new surroundings will provide the escape she desires, but what Ashton doesn't count on is how fate always seems to find a way to screw up any good plan. Sometimes, when love comes knocking, the pull is too strong not to answer. Suddenly, what she thought she wanted to escape from is what Ashton now wants more than anything.
Nathan Lockton has one mission: find his target and complete the task he was hired to do—no attachments and noemotion necessary. He's done it over and over again. What he thought was a typical lost-and-found job has turned into a life examining moment as Nathan is forced to deal with something he has always ignored--his feelings. Now faced with a decision, Nathan must choose to either follow his heart or complete the job.
Love can come when you least expect it. The question is: If the odds are stacked against you, how far are you willing to go for the one you love?

Interview:
Ashton
Really what did you think when you first saw Nathan?
I'm not
going to lie. I thought he was completely hot when I first saw him. He was
cocky as hell, but I kind of liked that about him. He wasn't like any of the
guys back home.
When Nathan and you came up with the agreement, did you
really think it would last?
I hoped
it would. Maybe I was naïve to think that, but I also
knew I wasn't looking to be involved in a relationship that was anything but
casual. Given the fact that we hit it off right away, I guess the heart wants
what the heart wants. No matter how hard I tried to keep it from becoming
something more than our no attachments agreement, my feelings would surface
again.
How awesome is Fran? Why did you feel that you could
confide in her?
I freaking
love Fran. She accepted me with no qualms or judgements. We hit it off right
away, so I felt I owed it to her to lay out all the facts from the very
beginning. In a way, she and I are able to talk much like my mom and I had
before she passed away.
Since I asked about Fran you know I have to ask about
Tressa and Brittni. How did you meet these lovable and crazy-awesome girls?
Brittni's
mom is the nosiest person you will ever meet. It's like she has a radar for any
new people coming into town. It felt like I barely had time to unpack and there
they were, looking for all the deets on me. We wound up hitting it off
immediately and have been practically inseparable since then.
I love your bucket list!! Is there anything on there that
you have not done yet?
LOL, it
keeps growing. The list sort of has new meaning now, and Nathan has made it his
mission to keep adding to it. A recent favorite of mine is a camping trip we
took last week in the mountains. Living in Florida all my life, I never had any
desire to go camping. Now that we're in Woodfalls for the summer, camping was
very appealing when you're not worrying about bugs and snakes creeping into
your sleeping bag with you.
Now, Tiffany King is pretty awesome, is she planning on any
more books of your story or possible spin off of other characters? *whispers*
It is ok to tell I won’t say anything…
*wink*
Ummm, I'm
not sure if it's a secret or not, but I think she might have something up her
sleeve with Brittni. Maybe around July. There might even be a clue on her blog,
*wink wink.

MY REVIEW:
Well, it is easy for me to gush over Tiffany King because I love her so much. There is no one like her and this books just proves it.
Best part of the book: The whole book was amazing. Ashton is living in this same town because she is running away from something. Throughout my heart went out to Ashton because there was something about her that made me want to protect. Well, thank goodness that Nathan was there. He came into town just for a short while. He met Ashton and they hit it off. Well, after a very interesting conversation they ended up coming up with a "no attachment" agreement.
I bet you can see where this is going........WRONG! Just when I thought it was going to be a book free of tears, Tiffany King swoops in and pulls the rug out. Thank Tiffany!
Not so great about the book: This book is another Tiffany King masterpiece! Grab it NOW!
