Hello everyone! I am Mary Smith and the co-founder of Book Nerds.  I have been a Book Nerd most of my life.  I love all types of book and I have never limited myself to one type.  Even though it seems that I have a thing for the supernatural!! (haha).  I am currently living in West Virginia (District 12 to the Hunger Games fans) with my wonderful husband and my Kindle Fire.  I am also a staff member of Down With The Capitol and host of Haymitch Happy Hour.  I am also obsessed with Haymitch (from Hunger Games), Vincent (from Die For Me), Edward (from Twilight), and many others! Hi! *waves* Flo here. I am co-founder of Book Nerds Across America and...well...I'm a Book Nerd! When I was a little girl, my Mom literally took me aside one day and said, "...maybe you read TOO much?!" Yeah. True story. I devoured Lurlene McDaniel, R.L. Stine, Christopher Pike, John Grisham, Michael Crichton. Fast forward to today, and you'll get a girl who devours most anything YA and certainly anything that keeps my attention! I love falling into a book, where all I want to do with myself is read it. I love cute, quirky fictional YA guys. I literally need a new bookshelf, because my apartment is being overrun by books. It is hard to believe, but it has been almost 2 years since I met Flo.  Here we are, a couple of Blockheads (NKOTB fans) on a cruise with none other than the 5 Bad Brothers themselves.  Who would have thought that a New Kids cruise would have led to book blogging, but it did.  Flo and I became friends on twitter and I started following Mary and Flo's blog.  After a few months of my constant tweets and comments about their read alongs...they decided to put me to work.  I read a little bit of everything, but mostly YA any mysteries.  You can follow me on twitter @4_RPattz .  Yes...I am more than a little OCD when it comes to Rob Pattinson.  Fortunately for me, my husband and 7 year old son are very supportive. They have come to terms with the alternate realities we BookNerds tend to live in and my numerous obsession.
