BOOK REVIEW: Caught In A Jam (Love and Skate #4) by Lila Felix

Goodreads Description:

I’ve loved her since we were kids. But loving someone gets tough when they don’t love you back.

Nixon Black has made mistakes. He made one mistake that would change his life forever. Now he’s working and in school—and he’s got a three year old. He gave up dating when Scout was born, but every night he retreats to another life in his mind, one he could’ve had with her.

Journey spent her formative years on the arm of any boy that didn’t expect anything out of her. She was hiding from the one person who did expect something in return—Nixon. Years after being cheated on and dumped for the last time, she takes a job at a daycare center where there’s a genius of a ginger haired girl whose last name is Black.

But the roles have been reversed and Journey is no longer Nixon’s first priority. Can he make room for the new Journey? And when he does, will he be able to forgive the old one?

MARY'S REVIEW:

I have been putting this review off since I've received the ARC of this book. It's hard for me to express and explain my love for Lila and the Love and Skate Series. Lila's stories get better and better every time. Her talent is really beyond words and I don't think I can do her justice with just a simple review.

But I'm gonna try *wink*.............

What I liked:

Oh, Nixon! Oh, Journey! I can't believe what two incredible characters these are!! I love them both so much!

Nixon and Journey have known each other for a long time AND Nixon has been in love with her the whole time. He tried to move on, but in the attempt of moving on he needed up being a single dad to his daughter Scout. He steps up and his life revolves around Scout (I LOVE THAT)

Journey has had one bad relationship after another and her "journey" has been a rocky one. Well, fate threw her a curveball when she needed up taking a job at a daycare.

Nixon and Journey begin to connect again, but it's not as simple as it seems. Things are different now. Nixon's priorities are Scout and Journey is trying to find herself.

What I didn't like:

Oh Lilla!!! I thinks its your purpose in life to make me ugly cry when I'm reading your books.

I"m sending you a bill for all the tissues I went through!!!! (I'm only half-kidding)
