BOOK REVIEW: Persephone's Orchard (The Chrysomelia Stories #1) by Molly Ringle

Goodreads Description:

The Greek gods never actually existed. Did they? Sophie Darrow finds she was wrong about that assumption when she's pulled into the spirit realm, complete with an Underworld, on her first day at college. Adrian, the mysterious young man who brought her there, simply wants her to taste a pomegranate.

Soon, though she returns to her regular life, her mind begins exploding with dreams and memories of ancient times; of a love between two Greeks named Persephone and Hades. But lethal danger has always surrounded the immortals, and now that she's tainted with the Underworld's magic, that danger is drawing closer to Sophie.

MARY'S REVIEW:

I was given this book from the author for an honest review. Thank you Molly!!!

I have been in love with the story Persephone and Hades for as long as I've loved Greek Mythology. Okay, I know that some of you are thinking..really? Okay the kidnapping part is wrong but I always thought that there was more to the story than others storytellers let on. Now, I would never compare authors, because I think each author is unique in their own way AND that is why I LOVE authors so much!! Not every story is the same. Sure, there are similarities but each is the author's take on the story!

What I liked:

Molly Ringle's twist of Persephone and Hades is amazing! Pure Talent!!

Adrian and Sophie! Love these two so much! This is a modern day story WITH A BIG OL' TWIST!

Sophie has gone off to college and soon meets Adrian who introduces her to a whole new world. He tricks her into drink pomegranate and she begins to have flashbacks! (this isn't a spoiler - read the description) Soon Adrian and Sophie become closer and strange things begin to happen. Okay, I can't really go into it or it will be a spoiler!

However, just like Persephone and Hades this is a story you DON'T want to put down !!!

What I didn't like:

Okay, there were a couple of times when I shook my Kindle and said "Come on just tell me already!" But, that is what makes Molly a great writer.

Of course there is a HUGE cliffhanger!! *hangs head* and book 2 isn't done yet!

But, I will be stalking Mollys Twitter Account for updates on the release of book 2!!

Look out Molly....you just gained another fan!!! =)
