Prom Giveaway! FIVE books! TWO winners!

It's officially Prom season! And thanks to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, we have a great giveaway to celebrate!

FIRST PLACE: A Book Bundle that includes:

Prom night at the posh Lexington Hotel sounds like a dream come true, but Haven Terra soon learns all is not what it seems. Can she save her classmates souls from a group of glamorous  yet diabolical angels in training?

Perry finally has a gig scheduled with his band in the Big Apple, but it’s prom night and he is forced to take quiet, geeky exchange student Gobi. Turns out, though, Gobi is a trained assassin and the night turns from deadly dull to just plain deadly.  A laugh-out-loud page turner.

Not everybody finds out during their senior year that they are a Romanian vampire princess by birth. But being bloodsucking royalty gets more complicated for Jessica Packwood when she finds out her betrothed is the annoyingly hot Lucius Vladescu. Will they happily dance the night away or will a devious cheerleader succeed in stealing Lucius away?

Thinking about designing your own prom dress? This coloring book by artist Carol and fashion blogger Lulu features pages inspired by some of today’s hottest designers and will get your inner fashionista started!

High school senior Justina Griffith was never the girl who dreamed of going to prom. Designer dresses and strappy heels? Not her thing. So she never expected her best friend, Ian Clark, to ask her. Ian, who promised her the most amazing night at prom. And then ditched her.

Yep -- there will be TWO winners! And it's super easy to enter. All you have to do is tell us YOUR Prom story in the comments. Just a slice of it is fine. Favorite memory? Was it memorable at all? If you haven't or didn't go to Prom, what would be your ideal Prom scenario? We're looking forward to hearing them -- and stay tuned to hear the BookNerds own Prom stories as well! Don't forget to include your email address so we have a way to reach you. Contest ends April 30th, 2012.

Note: This contest is unfortunately open to U.S. only. We promise to have another contest that our international BookNerd friends can enter as well very soon!

  1. I went to both of my proms but dateless. Junior year I went with my best friend who had just been dumped and senior year I "shared" the date of my dreams but he went off with another. As a high school teacher, now I just take my kids. Thanks for the fabulous giveaway!

  3. My date took me to his school's prom in a limousine! I totally was not expecting it, and we had such a blast. Danced all night long, and then went to Village Inn for ice cream. It was amazing, and I think that's the first night of my life I ever stayed out till two a.m. with parental permission!

  4. My prom was kind of fun. I say kind of because my date forgot money for the dinner and I had to pay. But after that it was fun! I was wearing the most beautiful blue dress and I felt like Cinderella! I had tons of fun at the dance.

  5. Thanks so much for the contest! I loved that the dinner before prom with lots of friends was probably more fun than the actual prom :) Thank you!

  8. I unfortunately didn't go to my prom, which I somewhat regret now. I don't dance, and I'm not one for dresses so I didn't really want to go at the time. I think I spent that night at work. I kind of regret it now though, it would have been fun to hang out with my friends (even if I did have to wear a dress and if they made me dance lol).

  9. While I didn't to prom junior year, I did go my senior year and it was a lot of fun! A group of friends and I went together. We had dinner at this Vietnamese restaurant and prom itself was in the courtyard of our art museum. The music was fantastic and it was a lot of fun seeing everyone all dressed up.

    Thanks for having this giveaway!

  10. I'm still a freshmen so I haven't attended prom yet. At the fact I can go junior and senior year I would want my senior year just to be with my really good friends (: . But as any girl even me, a girl who doesn't really do dances and dresses, I would of course love to be asked to Prom by that one boy.

  11. Prom was a disaster. I rather not say why, for personal reasons.

But it was not fun. I wish I had a good prom story to tell you, but I don't.

That's why I enjoy reading books involving prom. To forget my own. xD
